About Kahtoola
Founded in 1999 by Danny Giovale, Kahtoola builds footwear traction systems, gaiters, and hiking crampons to elevate human potential in the outdoors. Every product is designed and tested at the brand's headquarters in Flagstaff, AZ high on the Colorado Plateau.

Guided by a Product + Purpose mindset, the company builds durable gear while engaging in conservation advocacy and dedicating 1% of annual revenue through the Kahtoola Philanthropy Program to organizations advancing Indigenous communities, environmental responsibility, and meaningful connections to the outdoors.
