Based on the Colorado Plateau in Flagstaff, Arizona, our mission since 1999 has been to make the outdoors more accessible and more rewarding by building exceptional products. But making great gear is only part of our story. As an independently-owned business that's still led by founder Danny Giovale to this day, we stay true to our roots and purpose. Our holistic impact — supporting communities through the Kahtoola Philanthropy Program, elevating human potential, and having a net positive contribution to the world — is even more important to us.
