Environmental Responsibility

Few things—if any—impact everything we do, see, touch and feel more than our environment. People and communities need a healthy natural world around them to flourish, and this is certainly true of our other philanthropy program pillars: indigenous cultures and outdoor communities. Accordingly, we believe acting as responsible stewards of our environment is crucial if we truly want to elevate and protect these spaces.

Born from the core spirit of the Kahtoola Philanthropy Program—and bolstered by our Associates’ passion for, and dedication to, the outdoors—our funding supports environmental initiatives that are making a real difference for the health of our planet. Initiatives that aim to protect and preserve, repair and promote wild places, their ecosystems, and the wildlife that calls them home.
