TransRockies Run Team Sponsorship

The TransRockies Run is a wildly popular 6-day trail race that takes place in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. With a new high-elevation course (that remains secret until just before the event) every year, the Run is challenging, rewarding and has the power to change lives. The TransRockies Run Team Sponsorship is our opportunity to celebrate the human ability to persevere and the inclusivity, determination and spirit of the trail running community by awarding an entry to a team of two that may not otherwise have the chance to attend.

Each year, prospective teams are encouraged to submit an application and tell their story. Recipients are then chosen by a team of Kahtoola Associates and Athlete Ambassadors. The sponsorship is open to anyone and isn't based on ability, but rather on the dedication that potential recipients show to their sport, their communities and to each other.

Past recipients include race organizers dedicated to inclusivity and furthering the sport of trail racing as well as cancer survivors and those who have taken a leadership role in promoting running in their local communities, among others.
