Kahtoola Team Entry Giveaway for the TRANSROCKIES® RUN 2017
For the third year in a row Kahtoola is giving you the chance to nominate a team of two with a unique and compelling story for a free entry into the 11th annual TransRockies™ Run. Nominate a team to experience the 6-day run from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek, Colorado.
Kahtoola feels deeply about giving back to the trail running community and views this giveaway as a fun way to support and grow the sport. It’s an opportunity to dig a little deeper and celebrate the stories that shine a light on our best human qualities. Through this ‘contest’ we are asking you to reach out to others to encourage them to take on this challenge with support from you, Kahtoola, and the whole TRR community.
We invite you to nominate yourself as well as find others to nominate you and help tell your unique and compelling story. If nominating a team or an individual who has not nominated themselves, please ask permission from the nominee first and let them know of your submission. We encourage teams to get as many nominations as possible before the May 17th deadline.
Finalists will be announced on May 19, 2017, and Winners will be announced on May 26, 2017, at Kahoola.com by 4 pm PST
Best of Luck,

Heather Gannoe and Geoff Hart
On parallel paths, Heather and Geoff met after each had endured sudden and difficult divorces and each had moved to be near family in Vermont. They connected and started doing endurance events together of different types, always finishing together hand in hand. Long trail runs became their common passion as they healed, grew as individuals and grew together. They have provided stability and support for one another through difficult life changes and the parenting two young boys as well as constantly encouraging others to find the joy of trail running. Within the 60 nominations for them were many comments about their support and encouragement of others which fits so well with what this “tribe” of ours (all 7 billion of us) is all about. For all the adventures Heather has had, this will actually, be her first trip to the mountains of the western US and we hope it will be one her and Geoff thoroughly enjoy!
